Dr Ben Cronin

Dr Ben Cronin graduated from Deakin University in 2011, and subsequently worked as a resident medical officer at both the Austin and Northern hospitals from 2012 to 2014. Here he gained experience in areas such as Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, General Medicine and General Surgery, before embarking on a career in General Practice.

Ben has an interest in skin cancer medicine and has obtained a ‘Certificate of Dermoscopy’, and a ‘Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine’ from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He has experience in the diagnosis, and the surgical and non-surgical (where appropriate) management of common skin cancers.

Ben also enjoys other areas of general practice including the management of acute illness, dermatology, mental health, chronic illness and healthy lifestyle promotion including smoking cessation and weight loss.
